Saturday in the French Quarter. I took the street car downtown to do some shopping and just spend some time walking around in the magical place that is the French Quarter. My friends and I went to some of my favorites -located right on Chartres- The Revival Outpost and Crescent City Books. Revival is a modern and vintage thrift store with so much character, and I always seem to find something to bring home. This time, I discovered a vintage Levi’s midi skirt that I just couldn’t resist. Conveniently, Crescent City books is located right next door where I almost purchased a photography book and some post cards from the 50s and 60s. Unfortunately, they were unable to accept credit cards that day, so I had to leave empty-handed. I am regretting my decision already as I keep thinking back to my missed purchases. We stopped by a few more places in the quarter, including Jackson Square, a tiny hidden National Park and finally, H&M. On this expedition, I wore a basic tee from the Gap, army green printed jeans from Rich & Skinny, a chambray shirt from Nine West, booties from Franco Sarto and a Raj Imports bag from TJ Maxx.
