On Wednesday, I went into the city to check out some galleries down in Chelsea. I’m not sure if it was the smartest idea, as the temperatures were below freezing. To keep warm, I wore a white textured dress from Topshop paired with jeans, along with Sam Edelman booties and camel coat from Free People. I accessorized with my warmest mittens from Madison 88 and a tribal-like printed bag. I went to a few different galleries all along 24th including the Gagosian Gallery where I saw Takashi Murakami’s exhibit: In the Land of the Dead, Stepping on the Tail of a Rainbow. I also went to some other galleries with a variety of works, but I especially enjoyed the photography. One piece that stood out to me was in the Andrea Meislin Gallery which housed Angela Strassheim’s, Untitled (Headlights). After successful gallery hopping and art appreciation, I ended the day with some soup and sandwiches before heading back home.
